Most traditional methods for testing microbiological contamination takes days to get a result, but with the new Hy Lite Test you can get an indication of the total microbiological activity in fuel, water or mixed fuel/water samples in less than 10 minutes. This test method can be used for microbial testing in a variety of fuels such as diesel, gasoline, jet fuel and biodiesel. The Hy Lite Test method detects the presence of aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms, some of which are not always detected by traditional growth-based methods.
